The Renault Master is 2025’s International Van of the Year

Renault has continued in its winning tradition with the new Renault Master H2-Tech taking home the prestigious “Van of the Year 2025” title, which is Renault’s fifth International Van of the Year award.

Renault’s most recent award was unanimously decided by the International Van of the Year Jury, a panel of experts from 25 European countries.

Commenting on the Master’s achievement, Jarlath Sweeney, Chairman, International Van of the Year Award jury said:

“The IVOTY jury were impressed with the complete new design and high levels of innovation and technology developed for the new Master range, which features advanced aerodynamics, increased usability and enhanced efficiency, space, safety and comfort. Plus the fact that its new modular platform accommodates diesel, electric and hydrogen powertrains. All attributes that meet the criteria for the award programme. Future proofed. Congratulations to Renault Light Commercials on this well-deserved achievement.”

Previous Renault models that have won the prestigious award include the second-generation Master in 1998, followed by the Trafic in 2002. In 2012, Renault’s Kangoo Z.E. was the first all-electric commercial vehicle to win the award, followed by the next Kangoo Van in 2022 (which shared its win with the Mercedes-Benz Citan II). The Renault Master H2-Tech is the first hydrogen van to receive this recognition.
