Background
Devondale Murray Goulburn is Australia’s largest dairy food company , a co-operative 100% controlled by Australian dairy farmers. The member farmers operate pasture-based dairy farms across Australia’s dairy regions and are serviced by field officers with a host of technical support. VQuip were engaged to provide 10 heavy duty service vehicles for the field offices that were equipped to carry out a range of milking shed service activities night and day and in all kinds of weather. The proprietary 4 tonne aluminium tray system provided by VQuip ensures a light weight construction with the benefit of carrying heavier payloads.
 
Solution
The approach VQuip has taken is a fully integrated construction with under body storage boxes, dual ladder rack and a 500kg tail lifter for pumps and motors. In addition there is a removable vice, custom gas bottle holder, side step and power inverter with external working lights. The attention to detail that VQuip brings to a job extends to sourcing fittings of the highest specification…and in this case special mining industry hinges were recommended for all covers to minimise the ingress of dust. The customer is happy…lets hope the cows are too…
