VQuip Invests in Solar Power at Scoresby Head Office

Mar 16, 2026

At VQuip, we are always looking for practical ways to improve and be more sustainable in how we operate. Recently, we took another step forward by installing a new solar power system at our head office and production facility at 22 Rocco Drive, Scoresby.

The system will generate a significant portion of the electricity used across our office, workshop, and production areas. With a business that designs and builds commercial vehicle fitouts for fleets across Australia, our facility operates daily with machinery, lighting, and equipment that all require power. By generating renewable energy onsite, we can reduce our reliance on grid electricity and lower the overall environmental impact of our operations.

Solar energy is one of the most effective ways for businesses to reduce their carbon footprint while improving long-term energy efficiency. Over time, the system will offset a meaningful amount of emissions associated with electricity consumption, helping us operate in a more sustainable way.

While this installation is just one step, it reflects our broader commitment to continuous improvement. As a company that works closely with fleet operators across Australia, we understand that sustainability is becoming an increasingly important consideration in the transport and service industries. From supporting the transition to electric and hybrid vehicles, through to improving the efficiency of our own operations, we are committed to playing our part.

The new solar installation at our Scoresby facility is a simple but important investment in the future, helping us reduce our environmental impact while continuing to deliver high-quality fitout solutions for our customers.

We look forward to sharing more sustainability initiatives from the VQuip team in the future.
